Interpreter Support
Interpreter support for non-English-speaking participants is available for all Prevail Sessions in over 20 currently supported languages.
Session Scheduling
Prevail Scheduling must be notified in advance of Sessions requiring an interpreter. When submitting a Session Request, select the Interpreter option on the form or contact Scheduling at Scheduling@Prevail.ai.
AI Transcription
The AI Transcript panel only displays words spoken in English. When a participant is speaking a non-English language, the panel displays the name of the language rather than the transcribed speech.
Interpreter and Non-English-language Roles
When the Session begins, the Host assigns the interpreter and non-English-language roles. Once assigned, the Current Language
control appears above the Session Toolbar for the interpreter and non-English speaker but is not visible to other Session Participants.
Switch Between Available Languages
Use the Current Language
control to switch between available languages.
- To switch from English to another available language, click the Current Language control.
The AI Transcript panel displays a language change notification.
Note: If more than one non-English language is available, click the Current Language control until the desired language appears.
