Use a Foreign-Language Interpreter
Prevail Sessions provide support for interpreters and non-English-speaking participants in over 20 languages. Words spoken in English appear in the AI Transcript, while non-English speakers’ words are not transcribed. When a participant speaks a foreign language, the panel displays the language name rather than the transcribed speech.
Session Scheduling
Prevail Scheduling must be notified in advance of Sessions requiring an interpreter. When submitting a Session Request, select the Interpreter option on the form or contact Scheduling at Scheduling@Prevail.ai.
Switch Between Available Languages
When the Session starts, the Host assigns the interpreter and non-English-language roles. Once assigned, the Current Language
control appears above the Session Toolbar for the interpreter and non-English speakers while remaining hidden from other participants. Participants assigned interpreter and non-English speaking roles can use the Current Language
control to switch between available languages.
- To switch from English to another available language, click the Current Language control.
The AI Transcript panel displays a language change notification.
Note: If more than one non-English language is available, click the Current Language control until the desired language appears.
