Use a Foreign Language Interpreter
Prevail Sessions provide support for interpreters and foreign language speakers in over 20 languages. The AI Transcript transcribes English but does not transcribe foreign languages. When a participant speaks a foreign language, the panel displays the language name instead of transcribed text.
Session Scheduling
Notify Prevail Scheduling in advance if your Session requires an interpreter. When submitting a Session Request, select the Interpreter option on the form or contact Scheduling at Scheduling@Prevail.ai.
Switch Between Available Languages
The Host assigns the interpreter and foreign language speaker roles when the Session starts. Once assigned, the Current Language control appears above the Session Toolbar for these roles and remains hidden from other participants. Interpreters and foreign language speakers can use this control to switch between available languages.
- To switch from English to another available language, click the Current Language control.
If more than one foreign language is available, click the Current Language control until the desired language appears.
