Session User Interface Main View

All Prevail live Sessions take place on the Sessions Application. Each participant appears in an individual video tile you can pin for clearer viewing. You can use familiar video conferencing tools such as screen sharing and audio controls, along with specialized Session panels available from the Session toolbar.

Components

The Session screen displays video tiles, speaker labels, pinning controls, and a toolbar for accessing user controls and panels.

AParticipant Video Tile

Each tile displays a participant’s video feed and speaker label. Tiles automatically resize to fit the screen as additional participants are admitted into the Session. If a participant’s camera is turned off, their initials or photo appear in place of the video feed. Prevail Members can add a photo to their profile from the User Settings menu.

Muted Audio IconThe video tile displays a yellow border when a participant is actively speaking.

BPin Tiles

Pin a tile to enlarge it for clearer viewing. You can pin one or more tiles to the main viewing area of the Session screen by clicking the Pin icon in the tile. Pinned tiles do not alter the display of other participants’ views and are only visible to you. Screen shares and file exhibits are automatically pinned for all participants.

CSpeaker Label

Each video tile is labeled with the participant’s name and role.

Muted Audio IconA tile’s audio icon appears red when the participant’s microphone is muted.
