Prevail CheckMate
CheckMate is Prevail’s AI integration for Sessions. Use CheckMate during a live Session or in Session Review to query connected AI models, search your uploaded documents, ask general questions, or cross-reference information. You can access CheckMate from the Notes panel by typing @ followed by a connection name. Prevail provides a built-in AI connection available to all members, supports templates for several major AI providers, and supports custom configurations for additional AI providers. Add connections using your personal AI provider account, or use shared connections configured by your Organization administrator.
CheckMate Document Search
Upload files to your My Files folder in the Prevail Briefcase before the Session begins. Files must be uploaded and processed before CheckMate can search them. The My Files table contains a Searchable column where processed files appear with a green checkmark.
When you query a connection, CheckMate searches your files for relevant content. If matching files are found, the response includes the relevant passages and file names as clickable links. Click a link to view the file during the Session. If no relevant files are found, the AI model answers the question without referencing any files.
AI Models
CheckMate supports multiple AI providers. You can add multiple connections, each with a unique name that you use to query it with an @mention in the Notes panel. Users are able to query multiple AIs from one Note, i.e. user types: @Prevail @Claude Enter the prompt; the queries are sent to each AI connection and responses appear in the Notes channel, organized by AI. Each connection operates independently.
Prevail Native Solution (@Prevail)
The Prevail Native Solution is a built-in CheckMate connection available to all Prevail Members. It does not require a third-party AI provider account, API key, or any additional setup. The name @Prevail is reserved and cannot be used for any other connection.
