Prevail CheckMate
CheckMate is Prevail’s AI integration for Sessions, available from the Notes panel during Sessions or in Session Review. Query connected AI models to answer questions, search your uploaded documents for relevant content, or cross-reference information. Continue conversations beyond the initial query with CheckMate Chat. The Prevail Native Solution is included for all Prevail members. Prevail also supports connections to additional AI providers through personal accounts or shared connections configured by an Organization administrator. CheckMate Document Search
When you query a connection, CheckMate searches your files for relevant content. Upload your files to the Prevail Briefcase when using the Prevail Native Solution or in a configured file storage location when using a supported provider. If matching files are found, the response includes the relevant passages and file names as clickable links. Click a link to view the file during the Session. If no relevant files are found, the AI model answers the question without referencing any files.
Prevail Native Solution (@Prevail)
The Prevail Native Solution includes document search, which does not require additional configuration. CheckMate searches the My Files folder in your Prevail Briefcase, where files must be uploaded and processed before they are available. The My Files table contains a Searchable column where processed files appear with a green checkmark.
Supported Providers
Supported providers that offer a document endpoint can be configured for document search and retrieval. A document endpoint is a configured file storage location where you upload documents for the provider to search. To configure a document endpoint, see Set Up LLM Connections.
CheckMate Chat
CheckMate Chat allows you to continue a CheckMate conversation beyond the initial query and response in the Notes panel. Open the AI response in the CheckMate Chat tab to ask follow-up questions, refine your results, or explore a topic in more depth. The AI retains context from previous messages in the conversation. CheckMate Chat is enabled by default for provider templates. For more information, see Set Up LLM Connections.
AI Models
CheckMate supports connections to multiple AI providers, allowing you to access different AI models during a Session. The Prevail Native Solution is available to all Prevail members in every Session. When you add a connection to a supported provider, you assign it a unique name that you use to query the connection from the Notes panel. Each connection operates independently.
Prevail Native Solution (@Prevail)
The Prevail Native Solution is a CheckMate connection available to all Prevail Members. It does not require a third-party AI provider account, API key, or any additional setup. The name @Prevail is reserved and cannot be used for any other connection.
