Review the Session Transcript
The Rough Transcript module in Session Review allows you to navigate and interact with your copy of the transcript. The rough transcript displays by default unless you have purchased another available transcript version. If a different version is available, such as a reviewed or certified transcript, that version will display instead.
You can search by keyword, filter by flag, replay audio, and watch the transcript scroll in sync with video playback. Selecting a line in the transcript jumps the video to that moment, making it easy to review testimony or locate specific points. Use the filter and search options to locate sections that contain key words or phrases, including any labels or comments added to flags.
Adjust Transcript Settings
The transcript settings menu contains contains display controls, including auto-scroll, timeline visibility for flags and clips, and flag settings.

| Auto-Scroll Transcript | Sets the transcript to automatically scroll with the video as it plays. |
| Timeline Flags | Shows or hides flag markers from the timeline. |
| Timeline Clips | Shows or hides clip markers from the timeline. |
| Flag Settings | Opens the Flag Settings window, where you can customize your flags. |
| Help | Opens the Prevail Help portal in a new tab. |
Adjust Font Display
The font options menu allows you to adjust the font display, including font size and the spacing between letters.
Search by Keyword
Search the transcript by keyword to view only segments with matching text.
- In the Transcript module, click the Search icon.
- In the Search box, type a term.
Exact matches are highlighted in orange, and similar matches are highlighted in yellow.
The term is highlighted in the transcript.
- Use the up and down Arrows to view matches.
Filter by Flag
Filter the transcript by flag to view only text lines marked with the matching flag style.
- In the Transcript module, click the Filter by Flag icon.
- In the Select Flag drop-down, select a flag style.
Text lines with matching terms are displayed.
