Chat with Session Participants
Communicate with Session participants by sending messages in the Chat panel, which is visible to all participants. Use the panel options to send messages, edit or delete your posted messages, or mute the new chat alert chime.
Edit Your Chat Messages
You can edit or delete your posted messages using the Chat panel options. Any changes you make are immediately reflected in the panel.
- On the Session Toolbar, click the Chat icon.
The Chat panel opens.
- Hover over your message.
Editing options appear.
- To edit your message, click the Edit icon.
- To delete your message, click the Trashcan icon.
- Make changes to your message.
- To accept the changes, click the Checkmark icon.
- Optional: To discard the changes, click the X icon.
Mute the New Chat Alert
An audible chime sounds when a new message appears in the Chat panel. To mute the alert chime, toggle off the Sound icon in the panel.
- On the Session Toolbar, click the Chat icon.
The Chat panel opens.
- To toggle the chime off, click the Sound icon.
- An X appears on the Sound icon.
