Chat With Session Participants

Send group chat messages in the Chat panel, which are visible to all Session participants. Use the panel options to send messages, edit or delete your messages, or mute the new chat alert chime. The panel does not support private messaging.

Edit Your Chat Messages

Edit or delete your messages using the Chat panel options. Changes appear immediately in the panel.

1. On the Session Toolbar, click the Chat icon.

   The Chat panel opens.

2. Hover over your message.

   Editing options appear.

3. To edit your message, click the Edit icon.
4. To delete your message, click the Trashcan icon.
5. Make changes to your message.
6. To accept the changes, click the Checkmark icon.
7. Optional: To discard the changes, click the X icon.

Mute the New Chat Alert

An audible chime sounds when a new message appears in the Chat panel. To mute the alert chime, toggle off the Sound icon in the panel.

1. On the Session Toolbar, click the Chat icon.

   The Chat panel opens.

2. To toggle the chime off, click the Sound icon.  

   An X appears on the Sound icon.
