Join Sessions on Mobile
Both Prevail Members and Guests can join any Session on a mobile device. All participants invited to a Prevail Session will receive an email invitation from Prevail Scheduling containing a direct link to join the Session.
Prevail Members can access Sessions from either the link provided in the email invitation, or from the Prevail Dashboard or Sessions pages. Prevail Guests should join by following the email link.
If you are attending a Prevail Zoom-integrated Session, you must join on the Zoom mobile application.
You cannot attend a Prevail Session while on a phone call. You must disconnect the call to participate.
Prevail Members
Prevail Members must log in to Prevail to be directed into the Session.
Join via Email Link
- Click the Session link provided in your email.
- When prompted for microphone and camera access, click Allow.
- Follow the desktop procedure to access your Session.
Join from Prevail.ai
- Log on to Prevail.ai.
- At the top right corner of the page, click the Hamburger menu.
- Click Log in.
- Provide your name and password, and click Log in.
To log in with SSO, click an SSO option.
- When prompted for microphone and camera access, click Allow.
- Follow the desktop procedure to access your Session.
Prevail Guests
Prevail Guests must provide their information and request access to be admitted into the Session by a Host.
- Click the Session link provided in your email.
- When prompted for microphone and camera access, click Allow.
- Follow the desktop procedure to access your Session.
Enable Permissions
You must enable microphone and camera permissions on your device to access Prevail Sessions.
iPhone
iPhone users may need to enable microphone and camera permissions directly through the phone’s settings in addition to the browser.
Safari
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap on Safari.
- Under Settings for Websites, tap Camera, Microphone, or Location.
- Set each option to Allow.
For some permissions, you might need to go directly to your phone's settings, not just the browser.
Chrome
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap on Chrome.
- Tap Camera, Microphone, or Location.
- Set each option to Allow.
You may need to enable these permissions both in Settings and within the Chrome app.
Android
- Open Settings on your Android device.
- Tap Apps & notifications.
- Find and select Chrome or your default browser.
- Tap Permissions.
- Toggle the Camera, Microphone, or Location to Allow.
Notes & Recommendations
Enable Do Not Disturb (DND)
We recommend that you enable Do Not Disturb (DND) during a Prevail Session to avoid interruptions.
- iPhone: Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb > Toggle Do Not Disturb to On.
- Android: Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Do Not Disturb icon.
Incoming Calls
If you receive a call during a Session, your microphone may be disabled. To re-enable your microphone, refresh the Session after the call ends.
iOS iPad
- Max Participants View: On an iPad, only five participants are visible on the screen at one time. Swipe left or right to see additional participants.
- Pinned Tiles: To view a pinned participant video tile, you may need to swipe to the shared screen.
Chrome Desktop View
Chrome offers an option to view a webpage as a Desktop Site. This option may improve the user interface (UI) for mobile users by automatically adjusting the phone screen to match the window size.
