Manage Your Email Settings

Manage your account email settings by adding or removing email addresses, configuring preferences for session reminders, and choosing whether to receive calendar invites. You can also link multiple email addresses, called email aliases, to your account, though Prevail sends all notifications to your primary email.

Configure Session Reminder Email Preferences

All Prevail Sessions generate automatic reminder emails that include calendar meeting invitations. You can configure your account settings to remove calendar invites from reminder emails or completely opt out of reminder emails.

Remove Calendar Invitations from Emails

Prevail Session reminder emails include calendar invites that sync across devices and calendar software, such as Outlook and Google Calendar. Calendar invites allow you to add your Prevail Session to your personal calendar automatically. If you prefer not to receive calendar invites with your Session reminder emails, change your preferences to remove calendar invitations.

  1. On the Navigation menu, click the User icon.
  2. Click Profile.
  3. On the Profile tab, in the Preferences section, click Edit.
  4. Clear Include Calendar Invites (ICS Files) With Scheduling Emails.
  5. Click Save.

Opt-Out of Reminder Emails

Each participant listed at the time of scheduling receives email notifications detailing session information, including periodic session reminder emails. If you prefer not to receive reminder emails for upcoming sessions, change your preferences to opt out of reminder emails.

  1. On the Navigation menu, click the User icon.
  2. Click Profile.
  3. On the Profile tab, in the Preferences section, click Edit.
  4. Select Opt Out Of Reminder Emails.
  5. Click Save.

Add Additional Email Address

Associate additional email addresses to your Prevail user account by adding email aliases. Use email aliases to associate multiple email addresses with your user account, in addition to your primary account email. Note that all emails sent from Prevail are addressed only to your primary account email address.

Add an Email Alias

For each added email address, you must verify your email using the link in the email from Prevail.ai.

  1. On the Navigation menu, click the User icon.
  2. Click My Profile.
  3. On the Profile tab, in the Contact Information section, click Edit.
  4. In the Email Alaias section, click +.
  5. In the Enter new alias email textbox, type an email address.
  6. Optional: To add additional email addresses, repeat Steps 4 through 5.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Verify your email address...
    1. Navigate to your email account.
    2. Open the email from Prevail.ai.
    3. Click Verify Email Address.
    4. Optional: Copy and paste a link in the email for verification.

Remove an Email Alias

  1. On the Navigation menu, click the User icon.
  2. Click My Profile.
  3. On the Profile tab, in the Contact Information section, click Edit.
  4. In the Email Aliases section, locate the email alias to remove.
  5. Click the Trashcan icon.
  6. Click Save.
